Waste processing equipment specialists Ecohog Ltd are pleased to welcome Sean Dobbs to their team as newly appointed Operations Director.
Ecohog are air and metal specialists manufacturing Windshifters, Eddy Current Separators, Airhogs and bespoke products for the waste industry. With plans in place to extend their business launching Ecohog USA, the company will also be extending their product range to meet industry demands.
Key to Ecohog’s business model is customer liaison to develop solutions that enable processors to maximise the quality of their waste separation and improve their revenue. The company has grown steadily in the last number of years, and as part of their strategic development have appointed Sean. He will lead on innovation, product development and manufacturing efficiency as key focus areas to drive the projected growth.
Having Sean’s expertise on board will help Ecohog’s business development plans!
Sean brings a wealth of knowledge from a diverse background, with many years’ experience in the engineering sector. As a Mechanical Engineering graduate and completing an InterTradeIreland Fusion programme a number of years ago Sean’s career within the waste and recycling industry begun. Sean comments, “With rapid growth in my previous job, I decided to further my career to sub-contracting for a year. I established business with Ecohog on a part time basis. Growing a strong relationship with the Directors’ the opportunity arose and I was offered the role as Operations Director, which I was delighted to accept”.
Ecohog have exciting plans in place for the growth of their business. The global waste management market is expecting a spike in growth and Ecohog are designing and manufacturing new equipment to meet the waste industry needs.
Managing Director, Tracey McNally said, “Sean is a very strong addition to our Senior Management Team and brings a wide range of skills and expertise within the industry. We are delighted to have him on board, his work ethic and knowledge base is fantastic. Sean is focused on helping deliver the company objectives and ensuring we develop the potential we have identified as a team. It’s an exciting time for us, we’ve restructured lately to facilitate our further growth and it’s great to see the impact of this on organisational development, efficiency and profitability. We are also launching Ecohog USA to further facilitate our expansion in the US market, therefore appointing our Operations Director comes at a significant point on the Ecohog journey”.
Commenting on his new role, Sean said, “Ecohog are on an exciting journey and are experiencing significant growth. I have been heavily involved in the future strategy of the business and new products which is exciting. With high levels of growth naturally comes new challenges.
