A Fitter/Welder is responsible for tacking and welding metal components, assembly of sub components and the final assembly of the machines to a high quality specification as per technical drawings supplied. Fitter/Welders must adhere to production schedules, ensure all parts are engineered, tacked and welded, fitted, aligned and secured, ensuring a high quality finish is achieved whilst adhering to health and safety standards and procedures. The candidate must display a high level of physical stamina and dexterity. Good attention to detail is required understanding the necessity of precision to ensure the fundamentals of each machine has a strong infrastructure

 

Qualifications
• 2 years’ experience in a similar welding /
fitter role preferably in a machine
manufacturing setting.

Hours of Work
8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
