Ecohog Tracked Windshifter EH1500-TWS and Terex Ecotec 620 trommel processing Skip Waste Trommel Fines.
The Skip Waste Trommel Fines are fed into the 620 trommel which has a 20mm drum inside to remove the 0-20mm fines fraction which is mostly dirt and soil.
The remaining fraction is sent to the EH1500-TWS which uses powerful air-separation to isolate the light trash type materials such as paper, plastic, foam and cloth from the heavy stone type materials such as rock, rubble, glass and ceramics. The Tracked Windshifter also uses a Magnetic Head Drum to further recover valuable ferrous metals such as steel and iron from the heavy fraction.
The end result is:
- 0-20mm fines fraction for landfill
- Heavy fraction for road mixing or aggregate
- Ferrous metals for sale as scrap
- Light fraction for use in RDF SRF
